Do you know this book? As a person whose profession revolves around children, I always enjoyed the book. In the past, it might have even moved me to tears a few times, as I dreamed about the day I would have my own child to hold and read bedtime stories to. For those of you who may have never read it, the book is "a day in the life of parent and child - full of smiles and giggles, messes and meals, boundless energy and well-earned naps. Not to mention lots of love." It is a precious collection of short rhymes that talk about how a parent and child complement one another. For instance:I am your parent; you are my childOne evening, several months after Iliya came home, I pulled the book out to read to him for the first time.
I am your quiet place; you are my wild. . . .
