We may or may not ever be able to make an announcement that "we're pregnant"...but we have come to understand that the blessing is the fact that however parenthood happens, it is a miracle! ....... Now we have been home with our precious blessing from Russia since August 2007. Join us on our fun and crazy ride that we call "life with this child of mine."

Alabama Snowstorm
Did you hear about our snow this past weekend?

I think some in the state (even in our city) got more than others...many got WAY more than we did.  Even though it did not stick, the snow came down for HOURS...which is more than we've seen in years!

Iliya thought the snow was pretty cool.  Even though we didn't have enough to do anything cool, like make snow men or angels, he did have fun going outside and standing in it (pitiful, isn't it?).  We also were able to get enough snow off the top of the cars to make a few snowballs.  And Iliya had his first taste of a who-knows-what-sort-of-air-pollution-is-in-this-thing snowball.  I probably shouldn't have let him taste it, but we all have to know what snow tastes like, right??
