We may or may not ever be able to make an announcement that "we're pregnant"...but we have come to understand that the blessing is the fact that however parenthood happens, it is a miracle! ....... Now we have been home with our precious blessing from Russia since August 2007. Join us on our fun and crazy ride that we call "life with this child of mine."

I thought you'd like to actually SEE what we've been up to for the past month. (yes, it's been a month since we began our transition!) So instead of completely overwhelming you (and me!) with one ginormous post, I've decided that the next few posts are going to be devoted to pictures of life...and then I'm going to try not to let everything pile up on me to the point that I just don't feel like blogging because I have so much to blog about. Going Away Party

One month ago, Iliya's teachers & friends threw him a going away party. It was such a bittersweet day - in part, because none of the kids really understood what the party was about. In fact, they kept asking whose birthday it was - and couldn't seem to understand why we didn't sing Happy Birthday. I'm not posting a lot of those pictures because there are a lot of his friends in them & I don't want to post pics of kiddos without their parents' permission. But here are a few...
