Alignment of the Stars
So I've got something to post about which may completely destroy my 100 comment campaign (go ahead, get down there & comment! :)...but I just have to share.

Iliya loves his new school, but the morning "goodbyes" have been difficult...I'm told that he quickly calms down after I leave and usually has a very good day once he's in the routine.  But I have to tell you that today is the first day that Iliya was able to wave goodbye to me and not cry when I left him at school!  That is huge!  Now, I don't really expect that it will happen again...but for one day, it was nice for the stars to align and make it easy for me to leave him.

Whew!

Yeah! Isn't it funny how sometimes it makes us sad when they don't cry or get upset when we leave? Starting Mother's Day Out was harder on me because they didn't cry! Ha.

Such a good thing! It made me sad the first time Andrew did that, but was so glad he was liking "school".

That would definitely set you up for a better kind of day.

not having children, I'm always on the end of feeling guilty because a child doesn't cry when their parent leaves. There are a couple crawlers in our church nursery that light up and leap out of their parents arms when they see me come to check them in. makes my heart leap, but I would think it would be difficult on the parents.
