Do you remember...back last fall...Becky and Keith came over to Birmingham from Atlanta. They had come to a training offered by our IAC and since they were so close, they came on over to our house for a visit. Iliya was newly home, and Becky and Keith were the first of our "blogger" friends to meet him. (I'd search for the link, but I can't find it quickly and am too lazy to search too hard tonight)

Well...a couple weeks ago, they came home from Russia with their little boy, Andrew. And this past Wednesday, they came back over to the IAC for Andrew's first visit.  Iliya and I went to Birmingham to meet up with them for a late lunch and some fun on the McD's playground.  Unfortunately, this playground was not inside, and it was a very (read: melt-the-skin-from-your-body) hot kind of day.

Despite the heat, we had fun, and let me tell you, if you think Andrew is cute from the pictures Becky has posted on her blog, let me tell you, you have no idea how CUUUUUUUTE he really is!

Here are some pictures from the day.  (click to make any of them larger)

look at how sweaty they are! I can't believe you were able to endure the heat!

Andrew is ADORABLE!!! It is interesting to see the difference between the looks on their faces (Iliya saying "come on, this is what we crazy Americans do!" Andrew saying "this is WAY to over the top!") It will be wonderful to see Andrew totally relaxed and comfortable with his family in a few months.

Oh, what handsome men!! :-) I haven't even begun to look at the pictures on my camera yet! I don't know how you do it - I hope I find my "normal" soon so that I can have some energy to do things like pictures and blogging!
