I must confess. I have NOTHING to talk about. Well, I guess I could complain a little about how busy the past 2 weeks have been, but no use in complaining about that. I will say that I have had a few fleeting thoughts about topics but never enough time to actually sit and write. Therefore, I've forgotten those fleeting thoughts...guess they weren't all that important!

I know some of you like to read and get updates on the adoption. Unfortunately, there is NO news on the adoption front, except that I have had some recent spells of "antsyness"...this waiting is tough! I know - we are a long way from no more waiting - but right now, the clock seems to be standing still. Once reaccreditation happens, at least the clock can begin ticking again!

Well, that is all for now, I guess. Nothing really exciting...except that I did find some Christmas money I had put away and forgotten about. I believe I am going to go shopping tomorrow to find a new pair of black knee boots. Back in 2002, the day Nathan left for the desert, my mom took me shopping and we found this awesome (and comfortable!!) pair of knee boots - wedge heel - made by Aerosoles. So......those poor boots just entered into their 5th year of wear and I can really tell it. They're not as comfy as they used to be and are beginning to show signs of wear, although they don't look over 4 years old!!! I'm hoping if I go to the Aerosoles store tomorrow, maybe I can find a pair of I like. If not...well...I guess I can make the boots last one more winter...

It's just so tough to find shoes that are awesome AND easy to wear!!! So wish me luck for tomorrow!!!
