A Broken Heart
Two+ weeks out of school = one broken hearted boy that clung to his mama as she dropped him off at school this morning. He buried his face to her as he sobbed.

And one broken hearted boy = one broken hearted mama.

This was definitely hard for me this morning. For some reason, it was way harder than leaving him, even the first week of school - back in September.

Oh, how the end of the day cannot get here quick enough today.

Oh, my poor little man! But he'll get back into the swing of things pretty quickly once he's in there playing with his best buds.
We sure had fun yesterday hunting Easter eggs!! Hope he had a nap going home, he was getting pretty heavy eyelids.
We love you, Nana & Papa

bless his heart...and bless your heart...but N & P are right...you'll both be back into the swing of things before you know it...

i hate that we didn't get to see y'all saturday night...

love y'all!

Oh, poor little guy. I'm sure some major loving and attention went on during the past couple of weeks, and he is having trouble letting go of his mommy's full attention now. I bet it WAS easier saying good-bye in September... It'll get better again, and he'll be waving good-bye to you at the door in no time. :o)

I hope tomorrow morning goes better... for both of you! It's always hard when the routine changes - he'll be back on track in no time!

you know that was just his way of trying to get you to take him back to the beach!

Oh, mama, that is so nice that you you and your little guy are such good buddies. Isn't it nice to have a little man that needs you so much (almost as much as you need him)?!

We had the same issue when we took our little one out for surgery. He took about a week or two to stop crying at drop off again.
