You know I'm a tired girl when I can think of no better title than "updates." But, I guess, updating is what I'm doing this evening. I have spent the better part of the past 2 weeks writing my heart out for our grant at work. It has been exhausting, frustrating, rewarding (because you know how I love to write!)...and as of this evening, I am finished writing! Tomorrow, we get the UA seal of approval (well, I'm sure it's more involved than
that, but that works for now) and I will hand deliver it to its final destination.
Whew!!Of course, after spending all day at my work computer, one of the last things I really wanted to do was to come home and start writing again...but I can't have you think we got eaten by a bear!
So...You're probably wondering how our canoe trip went. I would just like to say the trip was...well...for lack of better terminology, different. I can't say it was bad, because it wasn't. It had its frustrating moments, but overall, it was fun! And I do believe we would do it again...yes, again. With one stipulation...
I think I may let the pictures do the explaining.
And then let
you guess what that stipulation is...

I'll try to give a more detailed story of our time later...but consider yourself pretty lucky you've gotten this much right now!! :)
love sis
Nathan
Reminds me of the time when I lived in NE Ohio and we drove to Niagara Falls (the Canadian side) for the fireworks on July 4th...FYI they don't celebrate our Independence day in CANADA!?!
Half the fun is getting there!
