Good morning! I think it has been exactly a week and you have not heard from me. No news is good news, I guess -- or maybe no news is just no news at this point! Either way, there's not been a lot to report these days. So just a couple things...
We were featured in the Huntsville Times AND the Birmingham News yesterday! They are picking the story up from the AP, which is a little wild but neat! If you have a copy of either newspaper from yesterday, and would be willing to save it for us, please do! We had no idea this was going to happen, or else we would have bought a B'ham paper. Oh well... :) We actually have had a few people contact us as a result of this article -- which is really cool. We want to learn all we can -- we're sorta to the part where we are doing more "thinking" and "dreaming" than "doing," so we're excited about learning through others' experiences.
Last night, we helped my friend, Ginger, load up a Uhaul. This month has had lots of transitions for me, and I'm quite ready for August to get here. One of the biggest transitions is that Ginger is getting married and moving far, far away (okay, not THAT far away - but 4 1/2 hours, compared to 6 minutes is pretty far!). She's been a wonderful friend through the years...and I know that many people are going to miss her, but I don't know if any friend could miss her nearly as much as I will. She assures me she will be back to visit - so I will definitely hold her to that. :)
Well, I'd better go for now. On the adoption front, I'm still waiting on some paperwork from Amy to go in our dossier -- as soon as we receive that, we will be that much closer to delivering it to be apostilled!
Love to all!! :)
