Homestudy Complete!...(almost!)
Well folks, we had our final meeting for our homestudy this evening...it really wasn't so bad, thanks to Amy, our wonderful social worker! We gave her the rest of our paperwork we've needed to get to her, and she says that now she just has to write the report. I think it needs to be a pretty lengthy report about us -- but that's what all the paperwork we've been doing for her will help her do.

I still can't help but feel like we still have so much to do, but it's just not coming to me! Actually, we really don't have that much to do other than wait. Amy is taking care of our homestudy (she's still waiting on our FBI/ABI clearances to come back -- if anyone @ the FBI/ABI office happens to be reading this.....a rush on those would be much appreciated! ;) ha ha!)... she's also waiting on the remainder of our reference letters to be sent in. Then we're waiting on our USCIS letter (179, I think? -- used to be 171-H) to come back. As soon as Amy completes our homestudy & gets it approved, we will get it apostilled, along with the rest of our documents and send everything on to CHI. They will go through it and hopefully by the time it's all ready to send off, our USCIS letter will be back to complete the dossier. THEN, we'll send it all to Russia and that really will begin the big wait.

Well, I won't continue to dwell over the fact that I feel like I should be doing more -- if I focused this "worry energy" into getting all my pictures in photo albums...or cleaning out closets.... I sure would get a lot done!! ha ha!

Tomorrow, Nathan & I go for our physicals and bloodwork. I've gotta remember to call the doctor's office to let them know, ahead of time, what crazy requests I'll have (like a copy of the dr. license). If they haven't done an international adoption physical up till now....well, I guess there's no time like the present, right? :)

For now, I'm pretty tired ... so I'm gonna go stop worrying myself to death and do something productive!! :) Goodnight!
