After an uneventful flight here, we are back in Seoul, ready to fly out at noon tomorrow. The hotel we stayed in coming over here was nice - very nice - it was a hotel that Korean Air provided for us on the "to" flight.
For the return flight, we had to pay for this room, but for 12 hrs. it is $90 and is a SWEET room. Everything is electronic (there is a boudey - sp?? - on the toilet, a steam shower/room, a garden tub whirlpool), free internet, and all amenities provided for us. It's really nice. Well worth the $90 we paid for it. The only problem is that everything is written in Korean, so we are having to feel our way around till we get everything right. From outside our window, it probably looks like a circus is going on in here, with N trying to figure out which button works for which lights! I think he's about got it, though.
Just wanted to let y'all know, if our math is correct, we are 11% of the way home and will fly out at noon (Seoul time) tomorrow. If all goes as planned, we should be back in BHM around 3-ish. I've seen that some of the Midwest is getting some bad weather again, so hopefully there will be no crazy delays.
Love to you all! Can't wait to see you!!!!!!!
From my plumbing days (one of my many vocations :o) -- I believe it's "bidet" -- or at least that's how it was spelled at the plumbing supply store I worked at.
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE Y'ALL TOMORROW!!!!!!!! Call us when you get to Chicago & if we haven't left yet, we'll leave then & we'll call Sarah (or you can) & she'll leave shortly thereafter. We should probably get there at a/b the same time. We'll keep praying for safe travel! love you! mom & dad
