It's hard to believe that I wrote our first blog entry almost exactly 6 months ago. Time sometimes seems as though it is standing still, yet it flies by so quickly! It just dawned on me a little bit ago how long we've been in this process thus far... at the risk of sounding like a broken record, I sure am getting antsy for that 171-H... and it seems that we've got quite a while to wait!

Be still in the presence of the LORD,

On a very serious note, we watched and listened to much of the "5th Anniversary" coverage of 9/11 today. It was an emotional day...remembering where we were when we heard the news, as well as remembering the subsequent days, weeks, and months. So much has happened since that day...in fact, our lives and the lives of many, if not all, Americans have been turned upside down and rearranged in many different ways since September 11, 2001. I encourage you all to remember the families who lost loved ones on that day, and in the days since. Continue to pray for them, and continue to pray for our country and our leaders.
