Thank you all so much for your prayers for my dad! His heart cath went just great, and we couldn't have gotten a better answer!! In (very) short, Come to find out, he hadn't had a small heart attack like the stress test had indicated -- his arteries were perfectly clear, and the doctor told him to go home, rest up, and then he could get back to every day life!! The question remains in everyone's minds -- well, that's wonderful news, but what explains the shortness of breath and tightness in his chest in the past couple weeks? Okay, here’s my theory – either he had just been over-exerting himself (you know, 50 year olds can’t do things with the same gusto that a 20 or 30 year old can – but ya can’t tell the 50 year old that – ha ha) OR all of our prayers worked together and something great and wonderful – something maybe we (or medicine) can’t understand – happened!! Yes, I’m implying that maybe some sort of healing could’ve occurred – but since I don’t know for sure, I’ll leave it at that, and let you all ponder it for yourselves. Just rest assured that I believe ALL your prayers were heard and everything ended up just fine for my dad—thank you so very much for taking the time out of your busy schedules to remember us!

Another great thing that came from dad having this procedure is that I got to spend time with several family members– my Uncle Greg, Aunt Julie, Nana Joyce, Aunt Cheryl, Aunt Brenda (or “Sissy” as we call her), my brother, Christopher, my sister, Sarah, and other friends who were able to come visit in the waiting room. I imagine that after 5 hours, the staff (and other waiting patients and family members in the waiting room) were glad to see us go! We weren’t rude, by any means, but when you get us all together, there’s so much catching up to do, and especially after dad’s procedure, and we found out that he was gonna be okay, I’m sure we were a little “chatty” for other people. Although...I think that some of our conversations were a bit of entertaining for those who were in the waiting room with us. Anyway…just thought that would be a fun thing to mention… :)

But I digress……… I don’t think that Greg, Julie, Nana, & Dad had all been together in quite some time, so it was REALLY nice to see all of them!!! And for those of you who may not believe it…………
